"A testament to the wide range of freshwater critters and the fact that everything is connected. There are tons of flora and fauna that are missing in this illustration, but I think it gets the point across. It's easy to forget about how all of the things we do on a daily basis effect the water system. From glysophate (round up) to chemical fertilizers and pharmaceuticals in urine, it all seeps into our fresh water system. I think it's important to at least be mindful and acknowledge the wildlife that keeps this world going, all the way down to the crayfish and water bugs. Here's to the plants and animals that no one talks about..."
